Why do I need to register to make a purchase?
We ask you to register to make a purchase so that in the event we need to contact you regarding your order we have your details available. Also the details you provide are used by HSBC to process your payment, so you do not have to re enter them during the payment process. By registering, you are also able to log in to our site and follow the progress of your order. If however, you do not wish to register, we have put in place a "guest account" log in, which will allow you to make your purchase, however you will not be able to log in and follow your order or place additional orders with this account. We do NOT pass your details on to any third party organisations and the information provided is only used to ensure that we provide you, the valued customer, with the best service possible.
Is my password accessible to anyone and can my account with you be used to make purchases without my knowledge?
No, even we have no access to your password. Please remember when entering your user name (email address) and password, that both are case sensitive. If you should forget your password, click on "forgotten password" and a new password will be sent to your email address. This will enable you to log in to your account and change your password to something more familiar. Everytime you wish to make a purchase you will be asked to enter your payment details, therefore no one else can make a purchase without your knowledge. We do not hold your credit card details anywhere on our system.
We aim to make our online transactions as secure as possible. The checkout process is performed on our secure server which will encrypt all your input making it impossible for any data transmitted from your computer to be intercepted by others. Credit card transactions are performed by HSBC who offer a secure e-commerce provider. HSBC will take your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then be returned back to our website to finish the transaction. For this reason the only information we keep is whether your transaction is successful or not. No credit card details are kept on the Amaroni website.
What are the opening times of your Customer Service Department?
Our Customer Service Department is open between 9am and 9pm, 7 days a week.
Can I make my purchase by telephone?
Yes you can make your purchase by telephone. Please telephone our customer services department on 01205 260 384, where our team will take your details and your order.
Why can't I have one price displayed inclusive of VAT and delivery?
We believe it is imporatant for our customers to know exactly what they are paying for and for this reason, we display the net price of the item, the VAT element and the delivery is added. VAT is not charged on the fixed delivery charge.
It is our opinion that there is no such thing as "free delivery" but that infact this is simply terminolgy used to attract customers, while simply "loading the displayed price" We prefer you, the customer, to purchase knowing there are no "hidden extras"
Do you charge for delivery?
We charge a flat fee of £4.95 per order regardless of the weight of the order. Therefore someone purchasing multple items will only pay £4.95 and nothing more. The charge made is the cost charged to us by our courier and we do not make money on delivery. The charge of £4.95 applies to UK mainland deliveries only.
Are all the items displayed held in stock?
We carry the full range of our items in stock, however, there may be instances, when due to high demand a particular product might sell out. Our stock control system provides us with with daily stock figures and triggers automatic re ordering when an item reaches a certain stock level, therefore either we have the item in stock or it is due to be back in stock shortly.
When will I receive confirmation of my order?
Our system will not automatically send you a confirmation, instead you will receive a confirmation as your order is being processed. We believe that you, our valued customer, would prefer your order to be dealt with personally instead of receiving a compuer generated email. Hence all orders that are confirmed are done so by us, so that you know that they are being dealt with at that time.
Once I place my order, how long will it be before I receive delivery?
Once your order has been confrmed, we endeavour to dispatch between 7 and 14 days, normally sooner. As soon as your order has been dispatched, we email you advising you of the same. Orders are dispatched by courier for next day delivery.
Will all the items I have ordered arrive at the same time?
We try very hard to dispatch all items ordered at the same time, however it may be necessary for us to dispatch from another depot in which case orders may be split and arrive using different couriers.
How will my goods be packed?
We endeavour where ever possible to recycle the packaging we receive. Your item will normally be wrapped in bubblewrap to provide protection and placed in boxes, sealed and then dispatched. Every item is checked carefully prior to packing, to ensure you receive your order in perfect condition.
What happens if I received damaged goods?
Our terms and conditions clearly advise the procedure that is required with regard to damaged goods. But please be assured that we will make every effort to rectify the matter as soon as possible.
Can I make purchases if I live outside the United Kingdom?
Yes you can. We have now added a feature at the point of purchase where you may choose the country of destination. This automatically calculates the shipping costs and deducts the local taxes if appropriate. If your country of destination is not listed, please email us at sales@amaroni.com and we will provide you with a shipping cost.
What do I do if I encounter problems login in or making a purchase?
Please email us at info@amaroni.com and we will investigate the cause and revert as soon as possible. We do ask you to take the time to let us know if you do have problems so that we may continually better the service we aim to provide you.
